چکیده :

Agriculture plays a crucial role in the global economy but faces significant challenges related to the unsustainable use of natural resources, environmental degradation, and climate change. The circular economy (CE) offers a promising approach to addressing these challenges by promoting the efficient use of resources, minimizing waste, and encouraging recycling and reuse within agricultural systems. This paper explores the principles of the circular economy in agriculture, including resource recycling, sustainable product design, and the reduction of waste. It highlights the importance of water conservation, soil preservation, and improved resource management as key benefits of implementing CE practices. Additionally, the paper discusses the barriers to adopting circular economy practices in agriculture, including economic constraints, technological limitations, and the impacts of climate change. Despite these challenges, the paper presents opportunities for advancing CE through policy support, collaboration, and technological innovation. By fostering sustainable agricultural practices, the circular economy can contribute to long-term environmental and economic sustainability, ensuring the efficient use of resources while mitigating the negative impacts of traditional farming methods. Ultimately, circular economy principles offer a pathway to a more resilient and sustainable agricultural system that can support global food security and resource conservation.
